SI MOLESTO CON MI CANTO

Si Molesto Con Mi Canto (If I Disturb You With My Song) was presented
April 1-3, 2005 at the Chamber Theatre on Capitol Hill. This concert of
original movement-theatre and dance pieces were all inspired by
different, relevant political issues, and developed by talented local
directors and choreographers.

New works by Seattle artists included:
Kuxan Suum, choreographed by Carla Barragan with Birlibirloque
Dancers, with music by Atomic Chamber Ensemble;
Gernika/Guernica, The Clowns, and Victor
Jara: El Sueno Antes de la Muerte,
directed by Dorothy Cosby and performed
by Ines Andrade, Don Carter, Brynna
Jourden, Christl Marcontell, Ella Mora,
Kari Podgorski, and Amie St. Amour;

Straightening Up and Freaks,
choreographed by Dolphin/Julia Trahan;

Blindness, choreographed and performed
by Nicole Pearson and Cathleen O'Malley,

Standing Alone, directed by Linda
Lombardi and written by Roxanne Ray,
sound designed by Larry Ryan, performed
by Sarah Ahrens, J. Spyder Isaacson,
Mok Moser, Brittany Quist, Carolynne
Wilcox.

In addition, visual art on political themes
by local artists was displayed in the lobby
area before showtime for some
performances.
